gorta’s mission is to work for a world free from the injustices of chronic hunger, poverty and disease, having special regard for the plight of children and the empowerment of women.
Since inception, gorta has channeled the contributions of Irish people to almost 2000 projects in the developing world. We rely very much on your support in order to ensure that we can continue this vital work. The information below should be of assistance in organising your chosen activity and if you would like some more information on our work we would be happy to provide this, simply contact fundraising@gorta.org
The beauty of fundraising is that there is something for everyone. If you are short on time, why not think about donations of clothes to our shops. If on the other hand you have plenty of time, check out some of our volunteer opportunities, vital to fundraising in gorta and if you are more adventurous you could even organise a fundraising event on our behalf.
