As part of the Stop Climate Chaos coalition, Gorta is asking people in Ireland to make sure your TD gets something right! Lobby your TD on Climate Change on Wednesday, June 2nd.
As the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in December 2009 failed to secure an international agreement on climate change, the focus is now on the next meeting of global leaders this December in Mexico.
In Ireland, our Government has promised to pass a domestic climate law by the end of 2010. We're asking you to ensure that this law contains real enforceable targets that ensure Ireland plays its part in delivering climate justice and a fair and safe future for all.
People across the developing world are experiencing the adverse effects of climate change right now. This problem has been created by emissions from industrialised countries, including our own.
